Jerilyn Gardner is the owner and founder of Gardner Law Firm, LLC. Ms. Gardner’s practice is primarily concentrated on employment law and business litigation, where she represents management and individuals in state and federal courts, as well as federal agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Ms. Gardner is dedicated to helping her clients find the right legal solution and to navigate challenges of the workplace.
Prior to founding Gardner Law Firm, LLC, Ms. Gardner worked at other Atlanta-area employment law firms, representing employers and employees in various discrimination and retaliation matters, as well as wage and hour disputes, including representing numerous clients in large nationwide collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Ms. Gardner’s experience also includes representation of companies and individuals in various business-related disputes.
Ms. Gardner began her legal career as a clerk on the Georgia Court of Appeals and subsequently obtained a federal clerkship on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Ms. Gardner frequently serves as a faculty member for Lorman Education Services, presenting on various wage and hour topics. Ms. Gardner also serves as a Contributing Author for the Fair Labor Standards Act treatise published by the American Bar Association (“ABA”) and BNA Books.
